In other news, I've been e-mailing like crazy to get as many connections for reviews (and hopefully for distribution) as possible. There are at least 10 more pending; hopefully, they are all as positive as the last five have been!
Also, submitted Summer People, that's my first movie to all y'all who don't know, to Indieflix just to "get it out there more." This way, if they accept it, it will be featured on the Indieflix website and available for purchase as a DVD, a VOD, and possibly be made accessible to Netflix, iTunes, and Hulu. Then, who knows, maybe I'll get an offer to make another film!
In other news, British horror magazine, Diabolique, will be publishing an article that I wrote on independent horror filmmaking and my experiences with Outtake Reel. Hopefully its publication, as well as the potential publication of an Indie Slate article, that I'm writing with the collaboration of Jeffry Chaffin, will be published alongside some advertising for the pending release of Outtake Reel into the market (via a distributor or self-distribution).
