Thursday and all is well-ish

Hey there, gang, it's time for some news!

Some decent reviews posted on Outtake Reel recently:

That last one gets kinda iffy at times, but overall it comes out on top! Strange thing about the kind of reviews you'll get when you submit your work to total strangers. One day you'll get one that says they loved certain aspects of your work but didn't like others, and then the very next day you'll get another one that has the exact opposite opinion. Round and round and round she goes...

In other news, I'm hoping to hear back from a few distributors within a few days to find out whether or not Outtake Reel will be picked up for distribution. And if it isn't, then there are already plenty of people waiting to buy a copy. Stay tuned to the Outtake Reel Facebook page and outtakereel.com for more updates on this.

In the meantime, I really owe a debt of gratitude to the inventors of Twitter. Through the use of this social networking tool, I've made many friends and connections toward promoting Outtake Reel and future projects.

Well, I guess that's just about it for this news update, kiddies. Oh, there is one other thing I almost forgot! I'm now the foreign film reviewer for the local chapter of the online newspaper The Examiner. Be sure to check out my foreign film reviews, which I have been posting every couple of days: http://www.examiner.com/foreign-film-4-in-anaheim/scott-feinblatt

Peace y'all!
