Many people have been saying things to the effect of "this is going to be a great year."
Do they say that every year? I had the same feeling about last year. Don't get me wrong, the year turned out to be all right. Pretty darn good by many standards. But I'm still waiting for that ever-elusive moment when my job and my passion become one.
I took a few steps closer this week with preparations for the next feature. Still waiting to hear back from some folks regarding distribution opportunities for Outtake Reel. I also filled out the application for the Tromadance film festival -- I have high hopes for this one (especially since the founder of the festival is in our movie).
Anyway, as today's image of an overwhelmed office worker suggests, I'm quite busy...
And I, too, have high hopes for this year!
But I'm still waiting for that ever-elusive moment when my job and my passion become one.
